Summer Calendar

LAST MEETING this TUESDAY, JUNE 19th!!!!!!!!

Make sure you are at our last meeting! We will be planting watermelon seeds, giving out calendars for the summer, and touring the garden!

Also, we a heard a rumor that the garlic might be ready to harvest!!

Growing Tall

During these rainy days the club has been busy building trellises for our garden. LMK's technology teacher, Mr. Perry, shows off his skills by helping students cut wood, creating 5 ft frames with wire mesh making a tall structure to help the snap peas and tomatoes grow tall.

Farmers market and seedling sale was a success!!!

 The club raised over $150 that will go into our garden fund and help us grow even more for next year!

Spotlight Night Plant Sale

Environmental Club class presentations

Over the past few months of Winter, the Environmental Club has been working in small groups creating powerpoint presentations. The presentations are divided into 3 topics; How to plant a seed, how to transplant seedlings, and how to harvest a plant. Students from the club will be educating 6th grade home rooms about the garden before bringing classes outside to participate in our Spring garden activities.
